4 years old!!!

So Jacob was very excited about turning 4, as most kids probably do he told everyone he ran into that he was turning four soon. He asked for a "Batman Set" and we pretty much knew that would make his day if he got one. We decided to keep it pretty low key and he is still happy with that :) I can't believe he is already four, changing everyday and still a very sweet boy.

Josh loves his boots too!

Batman SET!!!!!!! (Which, if you asked me, is really a doll house for boys)

These are GI joes that David got 21 years ago and kept all this time thinking someday he would strike it rich....and Jacob found them one day and there ya go. Uncle Matt had a hard time opening them up for us! :)
Happy 4th Birthday Jacob!

Is it fall already???

We had a cool day last week...cool enough weather for Josh to wear his "Papa Luke Jacket". Took some pictures of the boys playing outside. For some reason I could not get him to smile for these pictures....but he looks handsome anyways!!Here he is in the front yard....
Jacob on his scooter....He should have his helmet on!
Jacob playing ball in the backyard.
Jacob loves his red bell peppers lately
This is my favorite shot of the day......
Jacob checking his frog pit ... of course you need two swords to check a frog pit!
Josh is ready for the big time...I think his smile says it all!
Aaawwww he wants to ride a big bike just like his daddy!
Don't mess with Texas!

Park Ave Festival and Wickham Farms

Josh eating a snack.
The SQUEEZE!!!

Here are Jacob and Joshua checking out the Adopt a Greyhound booth at the park ave festival. Joshua is getting to the age where he is really interested in animals and he had a blast watching the dogs.

This is proof that David can dress up..I should have taken a real picture...he looked so handsome.
Jacob begged to go on a couple of bouncey rides. Here he is headed down the slide on his first ride. Two kids were in there at the same time and it just happened that the other little boy was named Jacob too. It made things slightly confusing!!

This smile is PRICELESS!

Josh checking out the greyhounds...he does this thing where he sticks his chin out when he gets excited...you can even tell he is doing it from behind him...so cute.

Jacob and Joshua at Wickham Farms ... Josh wasn't so sure about the lamb calling out every five minutes but the chickens and goat where a hit.
Jacob feeding the goat ...
Joshua was more interested in inspecting the brakes and such on the tractor than actually pretending to drive it but this is a cute shot.

Josh investigating the tractor.
The boys before church a couple of Sundays ago.

Jacob and Dad hanging out on a Saturday morning. Good times.

4th of July 2o1o

It was a hot weekend and we were unfortunately trying to paint the poor shed. My dad has been helping out a lot with that and we are now almost done.
Here is our grill master...

Eating our lunch

I couldn't get him to stop painting...thanks dad!

Grandma and Josh kept cool in the pool

I don't have a lot of pictures of Jacob because he was running around like crazy...he wore himself out between the heat and all that activity ... I managed to catch a glimpse of him stopping by the pool.

A hike at Casey Park

Sunday we decided to take a hike at Casey Park in Ontario. We had a great time on our hike and cooled off with a little fun in the water.

Mothers Day 2010

For Mother's Day we played it low key. We were going to go on a hike too but it was rainy so we enjoyed a great breakfast and some hanging out.
Joshua enjoying some time in his booster seat...

Joshua, the water gun and sandbox

As part of my mothers day celebration, Jacob wanted to have a picnic in the family room on a blanket with crackers and water....what a guy!

David knows how much I love my hot chocolate

David performing his mothers day duty...cleaning the kitchen.

I don't understand why babies find dishwashers so intriguing but he sure is cute!

Joshua loves his walker!!! What a smile!
